Arrive in Shangri-La and explore the atmospheric Dukezong Ancient Town, before making a wish beside Asia’s largest prayer wheel at Guishan Park.

Continue through dramatic mountain landscapes, stopping at the scenic Grand Bend of Jinsha River and admiring distant views of Baima Snow Mountain, famous for its snow-covered peaks and colourful forests. Visit Eight-Tower Park upon arrival in Deqin.

Surrounded by dramatic canyons, sacred mountains and traditional Tibetan villages, the area is often called the “Little Jiangnan of Shangri-La.”

Enjoy the sunrise over Lugu Lake (weather permitting) before exploring Grass Sea, the famous Walking Marriage Bridge, Lovers’ Beach, and the panoramic Lige Peninsula Viewpoint. Visit a traditional Mosuo Village to learn about their unique customs, then enjoy a relaxing ride on a Mosuo Pig-Trough Boat across the crystal-clear waters.

Continue to the turquoise waters of Blue Moon Valley (incl. tram), then enjoy the award-winning outdoor performance Impression Lijiang. End the day wandering through the cobbled lanes of Lijiang Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Take the high-speed train to Baoshan before continuing to Tengchong. Visit Bidun Coffee Estate (incl. one cup of coffee), where you can learn about Yunnan’s renowned small-bean coffee and the journey from coffee bean to cup.

En route, stop at the viewing platform of the impressive Longjiang Grand Bridge, one of Asia’s largest suspension bridges and a remarkable engineering landmark. Arrive in Tengchong and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this charming border town.

Later, visit Qingshui Simola Wa Village, a 500-year-old indigenous Wa village known for its rich traditions, ancient culture and beautiful natural surroundings.

Visit the magnificent Menghuan Golden Pagoda, a glittering landmark that overlooks the city of Mangshi and serves as an important spiritual centre for the Dai community.

Continue to Menghuan Silver Pagoda (incl. sightseeing shuttle), where elegant white architecture contrasts beautifully with the surrounding mountains. Later, transfer to Baoshan and board the high-speed train back to Kunming.
