Eight days through western Yunnan in spring, flying in and out of Kunming: Wenbi Village and Dali Ancient Town, the Cangshan Cableway and the Erhai Eco-Corridor with a Bai music bus, the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple and a Zhoucheng tie-dye workshop, two nights in Shaxi Ancient Town, the setting of the drama ‘Meet Yourself’, then Lijiang’s Dayan Old Town, a Naxi Dongba home visit in Yuhu Village and the Lijiang Royal Banquet.

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for flight MU5082 (12:40 to 16:55) to Kunming. Be welcomed at the airport with a bouquet of fresh flowers, Kunming’s signature greeting as the City of Eternal Spring, before your guide takes you to dinner and on to the hotel for a restful first night.

After breakfast, travel by road to Dali (about 4.5 hours), through the gentle highland scenery of western Yunnan. Visit the picturesque Wenbi Village (electric car included), nestled by the lake with views toward the Cangshan Mountains. In the evening, wander the cobblestone lanes of Dali Ancient Town, taking in its Bai-style architecture, lantern-lit shops and lively night atmosphere.

In the morning, ride the Cangshan Cableway (Gantong Line) up into the misty pine forests for sweeping views over the Erhai Lake basin. Then enjoy the Erhai Eco-Corridor, including the scenic S-Curve and a lively music bus experience: dress in traditional Bai costume, sip a complimentary soft drink aboard the music bar bus, join in Bai dancing, and receive three digital photos to remember the day.

Wake up at leisure before visiting the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple (electric cart included), an iconic symbol of Dali rising gracefully against the Cangshan backdrop. Continue to Zhoucheng Village for a hands-on tie-dye experience at the Puzhen Tie-Dye workshop, guided by a recognised Intangible Cultural Heritage artisan. In the afternoon, travel to Shaxi Ancient Town (about 2 hours), the tranquil ancient town made famous as the setting of the beloved drama ‘Meet Yourself’ (also translated ‘Where the Wind Blows’).

Spend a full day savouring the unhurried charm of Shaxi, the old staging post on the ancient Tea-Horse Road. In the morning, choose between Option A, free time to wander at your own pace, or Option B, a visit to the Shibaoshan Grottoes (eco-shuttle included). Gather for lunch together at midday. In the afternoon, explore Sideng Street, the old theatre stage, Yujin Bridge, the charming You Feng Xiao Guan restaurant and the Pioneer Bookstore, getting around by little yellow bike. A special surprise awaits: an exclusive afternoon tea for our guests at the guesthouse. Dinner this evening is at your own arrangement.

Shaxi Boutique Guesthouse (no elevator) / 沙溪精品民宿（无电梯）
After breakfast, travel to Lijiang (about 2 hours). In the morning, explore the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old Town of Dayan, with its labyrinth of canals, stone bridges and Naxi houses. In the afternoon, visit Yuhu Village at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, including a Naxi home visit with an elderly Dongba priest (electric cart included), offering insight into the living Naxi culture and ancient Dongba script. A specially arranged Naxi-style dinner, the Lijiang Royal Banquet, awaits in the evening.

After breakfast, board a high-speed train back to Kunming (about 4 hours). In the afternoon, stroll through Nanping Pedestrian Street, the landmark Golden Horse and Jade Rooster Archway, and the historic Qianwang Street. After dinner, transfer to the airport for flight MU9647 (21:20, arriving 01:40 the next day) back to Singapore, taking home beautiful memories of Yunnan.
早餐后搭乘高铁返回【昆明】（约4小时）。下午漫步【南屏步行街】、【金马碧鸡坊】与【钱王街】，感受昆明老城的市井风情。晚餐后前往机场，搭乘航班 MU9647（21:20/次日01:40）返回新加坡，结束此次难忘的云南之旅。
