Best time to visit Shandong / 最佳旅游季节
Autumn is the finest season to visit Shandong: skies are clear, the coastal air is crisp, and the temperatures are comfortable for walking Mount Tai and strolling Qingdao’s old town. This is why our signature trip is built around autumn. Spring is also pleasant and green, summer draws beach-goers to the Qingdao and Weihai coast but can be humid, while winter is cold and quieter. For the best all-round experience, autumn is our recommendation.

Qufu Three Confucius Sites / 曲阜三孔
Qufu is the hometown of Confucius, home to the UNESCO-listed “Three Confucius Sites”: the Confucius Temple, the Confucius Mansion and the Confucius Cemetery. Walking these ancient courtyards and cypress groves is like stepping into the source of Chinese thought and ritual. It is the cultural heart of any Shandong journey.

Mount Tai / 泰山

Jinan / 济南
Jinan, the provincial capital, is famed as the “City of Springs”. The bubbling Baotu Spring and the willow-fringed Daming Lake give the city a gentle, watery charm found nowhere else in northern China. It is a graceful start or finish to a Shandong loop.

Weihai and Yantai / 威海烟台
Weihai and Yantai sit along Shandong’s northern coast, offering clean sea air, seafront promenades and the legendary Penglai, long linked in Chinese lore to the “land of immortals”. This stretch of coastline brings a restful, breezy contrast to the province’s mountains and temples.

Do Singaporeans need a China visa? / 新加坡人游中国需要签证吗？
No. Singapore ordinary-passport holders enjoy mutual 30-day visa-free entry to China (since 9 February 2024), which comfortably covers an 8-day tour, so no visa is required. Travellers on other passports, such as a Singapore PR holding a foreign passport, should check the rules for their own nationality before booking.
不需要。持新加坡普通护照者可享中新互免签证、停留最长30天（自2024年2月9日起），足以涵盖8天的行程，因此无需办理签证。持其他护照的旅客，例如持外国护照的新加坡永久居民，请在报名前自行查询所属国籍的相关规定。
When is the best time to visit? / 什么时候去最好？
Autumn is the best time, with clear skies, crisp coastal air and comfortable temperatures for Mount Tai and the seaside cities. Spring is also lovely, summer suits beach lovers though it is humid, and winter is cold and quiet.
秋季最佳，天高气爽、海风清新，气温适宜登泰山与游览海滨城市。春季同样怡人，夏季适合喜爱海滩的旅客但较潮湿，冬季则寒冷清静。
How physically demanding is the trip? / 行程的体力要求高吗？
The tour is moderate and suitable for most travellers. There is walking at the Confucius sites, the old towns and the springs, and Mount Tai involves some climbing, though cable cars make the ascent much easier. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
