The 30-day visa-free rule · 30天免签政策
China and Singapore introduced mutual 30-day visa-free entry for ordinary passport holders on 9 February 2024. If your trip is 30 days or shorter and for tourism, business, family visits or transit, you do not need to apply for a China visa in advance.
中新两国自2024年2月9日起，对持普通护照者互免签证、停留30天。若您的行程在30天以内，且属旅游、商务、探亲或过境，则无需提前办理中国签证。
Who qualifies · 适用对象
The visa-free entry applies to Singapore ordinary passport holders. Holders of other passports, including some Permanent Residents travelling on a non-Singapore passport, should check their own requirements, as they may still need a Chinese visa. Our office is happy to advise.

- A passport valid for at least 6 months with blank pages.
- Confirmed return or onward travel and your tour itinerary or hotel details.
- The stay must be within 30 days and for an eligible purpose.
