A Tang palace on rails流动的大唐行宫
Chang’an, today’s Xi’an, was the capital of the Tang dynasty and the eastern end of the Silk Road. The Chang’an Express carries its name and its style: the livery blends Tang art with a modern streamlined body, which the brochure likens to a golden ribbon running across the Silk Road, and each car takes a Tang theme. Eighteen carriages carry ninety-two berths in two sizes of cabin, with a dining car, a lounge bar car and an observation car shared by all.
长安，即今日西安，是唐朝都城，也是丝绸之路的起点。丝路长安号承其名、续其韵：车身涂装融合唐代艺术元素与现代流线型设计，宣传册形容它如同一条流动的金色丝带，在丝绸之路上穿梭；每节车厢各有唐风主题。全列十八节编组，设九十二个铺位，分两种包间，另有餐车、客厅酒吧车与多功能景观车供宾客共享。

Is this the same train as the Silk Road Express? · 它与丝路梦享号是同一列火车吗？
No. The Silk Road Express (丝路梦享号) is a different train, sold as land-only journeys that you join in China. The Chang’an Express journey is a full tour from Singapore with flights, airport tax and tips included. 不是。丝路梦享号是另一列火车，以境内登车的纯地面行程销售；丝路长安号则是自新加坡出发的完整行程，已含机票、机场税与小费。
How many nights will I spend on the train? · 车上住几晚？
Four nights on the twelve-day journey: leaving Xi’an, Dunhuang to Golmud, Golmud to Xining and Xining back to Xi’an. The other seven nights are in hotels, and the journey card above shows the nights on the train. 十二天行程车上住四晚：自西安出发当晚、敦煌至格尔木、格尔木至西宁，以及西宁返回西安；其余七晚入住酒店。上方行程卡片亦标注车上住宿晚数。
Which cabin should I choose? · 应该选择哪种包间？
Both sleep two in a king or twin bed. The three-cabin carriage gives you 13 m² and the four-cabin carriage 10 m².
