The Star Express (星光澜湄号) is a twelve-carriage tourist train run by StarExpress (中旅星光), a company of China Tourism Group. Its maiden run left Kunming Station on 24 September 2024, making it China’s first cross-border tourist train. It was designed around quiet comfort, smart and eco-friendly cabins and a safe, seamless ride, with sound insulation taken from high-speed rail.
星光澜湄号是由中国旅游集团旗下中旅星光公司运营的旅游列车，全列十二节编组。二〇二四年九月二十四日自昆明站首发，是中国首列跨境旅游列车。列车以静音舒适、智能环保、安全畅达为设计理念，并采用高铁隔音技术。
Nights on the train, days on the ground · 夜宿列车，日间游览The train carries you between regions by night. By day you explore on the ground, and some nights are spent in hotels such as Kengo Kuma’s Lost Stone Villa in Tengchong.夜里由列车载您穿越不同地区；白天下车游览，部分夜晚入住酒店，例如隈研吾设计的腾冲石头纪温泉VILLA。

Fuxian Lake抚仙湖
China's largest deep-water freshwater lake, about 155 metres at its deepest and clear enough to see the bottom.中国最大的深水型淡水湖，最深处约155米，湖水清澈见底。

Return flights from Singapore, your nights on the train in the cabin you book, the hotel nights listed in each itinerary, the meals and sightseeing shown, and a Mandarin-speaking guide (English-speaking guide available on request). Airport tax (S$305, confirmed at ticketing) and tips for the driver, guide and train staff (S$80 for the whole journey) are not included and are added at booking. 含新加坡往返机票、所订房型的车上住宿、行程所列酒店住宿、注明的餐食与景点，以及专业中文导游（可应要求安排英语导游）。机场税（S$305，以出票时为准）及司机、导游与火车服务员小费（全程S$80）不含在团费内，于预订时另加。

Choose by season. The New Year journey welcomes the new year in Kunming and visits Mile, Lijiang and Tengchong. The cherry-blossom journey pairs Yunnan’s spring blossoms with the Yuanyang rice terraces and Jianshui. The jacaranda journey catches Kunming’s purple jacarandas and adds Lijiang and Fuxian Lake. The Star Express also runs a Kunming to Laos service, the route of its first run in September 2024. Our journeys stay within Yunnan, so you only need to enter China. 星光澜湄号亦开行昆明至老挝的线路，二〇二四年九月正是以此线首发。我们的行程全程在云南境内，只需入境中国即可。
